Dr John Clark is a forensic pathologist who practised in the United Kingdom for over 30 years, in both Scotland and England. For many years he has also been involved in forensic work internationally, primarily dating from his role as Chief Pathologist for the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in the late 1990s, early 2000s. This has been complemented in recent years by work for the International Criminal Court, the UN, the ICRC and the European Court of Human Rights, in a combination of pathology, training and assessment missions. He is interested in history and hence the topic chosen for presentation.
